As a suicide survivor Marsha identifying as someone who had Borderline Personality Disorder, she now advocates internationally for early intervention and prevention in this area, with a focus on the social injustices and inequities that those with both physical and mental illness experience on an ongoing basis.
Volunteering gives Marsha her purpose which improves both her mental health and wellbeing. Recently, she was awarded the Royal College of Psychiatrists President’s Medal and is a Churchill Fellow of 2023.
