GLE Leadership Exchange 2026 – Canada (1st June – 5th June 2026)

Planning is well underway to develop our Leadership Exchange in Canada, 2026. The theme for next year’s Leadership Exchange has been finalized as: Ideas to Action: Inspiring Leaders to mobilize collective solutions.

This theme builds on the learning from our previous Leadership Exchange in the Netherlands in 2024. It also sets the framework for a new ambition for GLE to strengthen its ability to amplify the learning obtained during the Leadership Exchange in between our signature events.  More on this to follow in the coming months.

Team members from GLE recently met with the Leadership Exchange Planning Team and several Canadian leaders in Ottawa. A big thank you to Stephanie Priest, Director General, Public Health Agency, Canada, and her colleagues for supporting the site visit to the network meeting venue (Rogers Centre, Ottawa 3-5^th June 2026) and arranging a series of visits to the hotels and accommodation options being considered to house delegates for the event. In addition, GLE representatives met with many colleagues helping to shape the development of the event and the immersive knowledge exchanges (Matches). Thank you to everyone who has been involved so far in shaping the event.

Significant work is ongoing with Leaders in Canada to develop Matches which will be taking place throughout the country giving delegates an opportunity to truly experience Canada.

Registration for the event will open in late October 2025. This will enable members to plan travel well in advance. We have secured several deals with local hotels and accommodation sites and we are in the process of securing additional tourist benefits for participants during their stay in Ottawa. A link to these sites will be published with the registration process.
